“keep (something) under wraps” 秘密にしておく
ある事柄をしばらくの間、公にしないでおくことを意味する表現です。
例）EthanとIsobelはファッションショーを見に行く予定です。二人はそのショーについて話しています。

例）Connorは友人のClintと自分が見たいSF映画の話をしています。
Connor: I’m so excited! I’m going to go see it on Saturday.
Clint: Sorry to rain on your parade, but that movie isn’t out for another week.
Connor: すごく楽しみだな。その映画、土曜日に見に行くんだ。
Clint: 楽しい気分を損なって悪いんだけど、その映画の公開はもう1週間先だよ。
Connor: I’m so excited! I’m going to go see it on Saturday.

例）VioletとMary-Anneは自分たちが行ったパーティについて話しています。

Violet: Yeah, she really stole the limelight.
Mary-Anne: 誕生日だった子もよかったけど、Andreaのドレスは本当に素敵だったわ。
Violet: うん、完全に主役の座を奪ってたわね。

何かをする前に興奮などを一旦鎮めてしばらく待つことを表現するために使われるフレーズです。
例）Pamが夫のKeithと夏休みの予定について話しています。

Keith: Wow, cool your jets! We haven’t even looked at flights yet!
Pam: よし、じゃあ早速このホテルに予約を入れるよ。
