季節はずれの大病

Doctor: What seems to be the problem?
John: I’ve got a fever and a stuffy nose. There’s a bad cold spreading like wildfire among my friends, and I’m afraid I caught it.
Doctor: Are you experiencing any other symptoms?
John: I’ve also had a frog in my throat for the past few days.
Doctor: It sounds like you might have the flu.
John: Oh no! I thought I had managed to avoid the flu this year.
Doctor: I’ll prescribe you a new medication that just came out. It’ll get you back on your feet.
John: I really need to feel better as soon as possible. It’s a busy time of the year.
Doctor: Don’t worry, you’ll be fit as a fiddle in no time.
